Restorative Yoga
The Art of Restorative Yoga
Restorative Yoga Practice is a sequence of completely supported postures using bolsters, blankets, blocks, an eye pillow and other props.
The practitioner can experience the benefits of different postures; backbends, forward bends, lateral extensions, twists and inversions, while in a state of total ease and support.
While resting in the postures, Paul guide the students into deeper states of relaxation through guided breath, visualization, and inner awareness.
Each posture is held from about three to ten minutes, allowing time for slowing down and letting go.
This leads to a meditative state and an experience of heightened inner peace.
