Join our Winter Yoga for Seniors Teacher Training
This 10-Hour Adaptive Yoga For Seniors training is designed to give participants the tools to effectively lead seniors through an accessible, safe, and enjoyable chair-based yoga practice. The program is designed for yoga teachers, healthcare professionals and other caregivers. Ten hours of continuing education credit can be received through Yoga Alliance. A Guidebook is included.

Participants will learn to:
-Lead a safe and well-rounded yoga practice for an individual or in a group setting.
-Utilize a chair for a seated yoga practice, and combinations of seated and standing work with chair support.
-Teach movement, yoga postures, and breathing techniques to create smart, fun and effective yoga sequences for body, heart-mind and spirit.
-Offer accessible variations for different abilities.
-Help students develop strength and balance for functional movement and fall prevention.
-Teach Exercises for Stress Reduction, Positivity and Brain Health.
-Lead Laughter Yoga Exercises
-Guide Relaxation and Meditation
